Cesarean section infection I won’t say it is common, but it can happen to anybody. The signs and symptoms of infection are redness in the area of the infection and sometimes you can notice discharge coming for the wound. Also pain that is increasing at the site of the cesarean section. If any of these symptoms happen, you need to contact the doctor immediately and do not delay containing the doctor. First of all a swab will be taken, that will be sent to the lab to see whether it grows any organism , that will help is to give you antibiotics and mainly keeping the area clean and try most of the times to prevent the infection. Also to prevent , we will give antibiotics once in 1 hour of starting the cesarean section and this will help to prevent infection during cesarean section to a large extent.
